Aim of Society
The Society holds meetings with the aim of sharing information and resources to help expand this area of interest, providing a forum for you to contribute and generally enjoy each other’s company whilst furthering your collecting interests. In addition, a quarterly journal, the “Papua New Guinea Calling” is distributed world wide via the UK to all members. The PPS was founded as a small group in 1954 at Port Moresby. Currently, administration of the Society is in the UK with groups around the world including Australia in Melbourne and Brisbane.
