Both Mark Robinson and myself, Michael Parr, are keen collector's of Papua New Guinea. All the materials developed by us were born out of our desire for a professional album that we could use to display our own stamps. After researching the market we discovered that there was nothing that would satisfy our needs and desires. After more than twelve months of weekends and evenings we have finally completed the project.
After conducting months of research I had compiled pages and pages of consolidated information which became my resource for collecting. I found it so useful to have the information in tabulated format, and found myself using the full-sheet scans and images to explain the various flaws to other collectors that we decided to publish it. We felt that there was a real need for this consolidated information with images to assist collector's understanding of what other researchers were describing.
We hope that the Album and Collector's Guide series will greatly assist you and give you greater joy in collecting this most fascinating and intriguing philatelic area, the Territories of Papua, New Guinea, and Papua & New Guinea up until the introduction of the decimal currency.
